Parascending and parasailing, Barcelona
If you’re looking for a literal holiday ‘high’ light, then you won’t find a better buzz than parasailing – Barcelona looks truly magnificent from the air, and you’ll get a view of the city that most visitors can only dream of!
Parasailing, also known as parascending or parakiting, takes watersports to new heights, and is a wonderful mixture of adrenaline rush and relaxation. Starting with a sedate boat journey out into the Mediterranean, you’ll have the chance to bob along and take in the coastal scenery from Barceloneta beach to Port Olimpic and beyond, until you reach the perfect spot for your airborne adventure.
You’ll be strapped up into a harness by your qualified instructor, who will make sure everything’s safe and secure before leading you to the back of the boat, where you’ll be attached to your parachute ready for the fun to begin.
You’ll feel the rush of the wind as the boat reaches higher speeds, and you start rising into the sky, creating more and more distance between you and the waves below.
The perks of parascending… Barcelona’s best views!
Known for its incredible architecture and varied skyline, Barcelona is a beautiful city with plenty of sights to take in – and from this elevated perspective, if you keep a look out, you might be able to spot the famous towers of the Sagrada Familia or the iconic cathedral.
Taking flight on a parasailing adventure in Barcelona offers an exhilarating moment of peace from the city’s busy energy, giving you a unique story to tell of your travels under the Spanish sun.
