Description
eFoil, also known as Fliteboard or Hydrofoil, is a new sensation in water sports fun and we’ve brought it right here to Barcelona for you to enjoy! Not sure what it’s all about? In a nutshell, this is surfing, but supercharged! Your Barcelona eFoil/hydrofoil board combines a stylish design with the most modern technology to harness the power of flight.
As an eFoil rider, you’ll experience floating over the water on a power-driven surfboard. This must-try activity uses a lithium ion battery which powers a silent, zero-emission motor, allowing you to carve up the water without any waves. You’ll be sure to catch the attention of many beach dwellers as you cruise along Barceloneta beach, and you’ll be in awe of Barcelona’s famous landmarks from your elevated position too!
Your Barcelona eFoil/Hydrofoil ride
You’ll have your own instructor to show you the ropes, ensuring you pick up this super-fun activity fast enough to get the maximum enjoyment out of your time. You can ride alone and soak up the sights of Barcelona’s famous coastline, or go with up to 5 friends and share in this unique Barcelona experience together.
We ask that you arrive at the designated meeting point 15 minutes before the start of your activity to allow for proper preparation time. We have secure storage for your valuables and anything else you’d like to keep dry at our rental office, conveniently located just a 5-minute walk away from Ciutadella Metro. Showers and changing facilities are all available for your convenience.

- Confirmation of your Barcelona eFoil/hydrofoil booking
- The credit/debit card you used to make your booking
- Identification, matching the name on the credit card, and on the booking
We also recommend you bring:
- Sun cream
- Towels & swimwear
Other notes:
- Sunglasses are not permitted whilst riding eFoil/hydrofoil boards in Barcelona
- Barcelona eFoil/hydrofoil board hire is not recommended for pregnant women
- Access may be difficult for those with physical disabilities
FAQs
I don't know how to surf or eFoil/hydrofoil. Will I be able to do it?
This activity is super easy to learn, and our instructors will be on hand to show you all of the techniques you need to get the most enjoyment and value out of your experience.
Is it safe?
Yes! You will be given a mandatory safety briefing to make you aware of any potential hazards and ensure your welfare during your eFoil/hydrofoil ride.
How long does the activity last for?
You can choose between 30 minutes or 60 minutes. The amount you pay is for the time you spend on the water. Preparation time and safety briefing time is not deducted.
Should I bring a wetsuit?
Neoprene suits are included in the price when you rent eFoil/hydrofoil boards. Barcelona is not a typical holiday destination where we’d expect visitors to have their own wetsuits in their luggage. But if you’d prefer to use your own, you are of course welcome to do so. Wetsuits are not mandatory, but if you have clothes you don’t want to get wet, or you think you'll be cold in the water, then they are a good idea.
Cancellations
Cancellations for Barcelona eFoil/hydrofoil rides made up to 48 hours after the time of the booking may be refunded in full upon request. Cancellations may be made up to 48 hours prior to any booking, however, we will retain 20% of the cost of the booking to cover costs already incurred.
