If you’re a certified scuba diver but haven’t dived for some time, you may have forgotten some of the essential aspects of scuba diving. Don’t worry, you can ReActivate your certification in Cape Town, South Africa, with our help! The course covers all the essentials you need to get back into diving. You’ll be back in top condition in no time, and be ready to get back into the water with confidence. 

Our NEW ReActivate™ scuba refresher programme from PADI is the perfect way to brush up on your knowledge skills. Take a quick refresher from the PADI Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water. Whether you want a few reminders or need to go over the basics, ReActivate is personalised for your every need. It is quick and easy as well as a great way to prepare you for your next PADI course or get ready for a diving holiday. 

Additionally, all divers who complete both the knowledge and in-water skill refresher will receive a replacement certification card with a ReActivated date on it. Having a recent ReActivate date on your certification means you’re ready to dive in, and dive shops will appreciate seeing it. The programme is recommended for any PADI certified diver who wants a refresher or pre-travel update. 

Plus, you can use the ReActivate Touch app (for tablets or mobile devices) or ReActivate Online (for your personal computer) to immerse yourself in dive scenarios. You’ll also be able to make decisions that will test your understanding of the important dive safety concepts, dive planning essentials, and problem management. 

You can move through ReActivate at your own pace and delve deeper into topics when you need or want to. On the other hand, when you’re in the water, your PADI Professional will help you regain comfort and confidence in scuba diving. You can practice safety-related skills and then go over anything you specifically want to review.

Course Details

• Pick up from Cape Town Hotels to the V&A Waterfront or meet at the dive shop at 8.30am, to complete paperwork and do a quick review with your instructor.
• After trying on your scuba equipment, you will head off to the pool for the day.
• Back at the shop each day around 14h00.

Prerequisites and Minimum Age:

Have a scuba diving qualification (PADI or qualifying certification from another training organisation).

10 years old.

Maximum of 4 students per instructor.

Course Times:

08h30 (Meet at the shop)

Includes:

• Full tuition by an internationally certified PADI Professional.
• Confined water (swimming pool) session.
• Full use of scuba gear.
• Digital course materials include ReActivate curriculum, learning objectives, video clips, quick reviews, and certification card processing fee.
• Replacement PADI certification card with a ReActivate completion date (received only when completing both the knowledge review and skills refresher portions).
• Transfers with any tour booked online or by phone within 5km radius of CBD. (Min: 2 Pax).
