Cape Town PADI Rescue Diver – Divemaster Package

Have you ever wanted to make diving and your love for the ocean a career? Do you dream of diving in exotic destinations and share your passion with fellow divers? If you already at the open water advance level, then our PADI Rescue Diver to PADI Divemaster package is for you!

The entire course is one of the most educational out there in terms of diving emergencies and becoming a confident and competent diver. The course aims to provide you with knowledge at handling various diving situations. You’ll also learn how to anticipate potential issues underwater and how to prevent these hazardous situations from happening, as well as how you can manage your safety.

Our rescue course is one of the most fun and enjoyable courses you can take in Cape Town, South Africa. Every theory and practical situations are of tremendous importance in both underwater and terrestrial worlds. At the end of your course, you’ll become not only an exceptionally confident and responsible diver, but you’ll also ready to take on any underwater scenarios any time.

Course Details

The levels you would need to complete are the following:

• EFR. Your basic first aid training (Primary & Secondary care). It can be done in half a day.
• Rescue. The course consists of knowledge development, pool sessions, and open water scenarios. It’s a challenging course but a very rewarding one and can be done in over 2 days.
• Divemaster. Your first step into the professional world. The more you put into this course the more you will gain from it. It has loads of self-study, practical work, and open water work. (Min age is 18 years old). You also need 40 logged dives to begin this course, build up dives are included in the package.

Minimum 3 months (varies with each student).

Prerequisites and Minimum Age:

• You must be 10 years old or older.
• You need adequate swimming skills.
• Be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

Group size:

No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

Course Times:

08h30 (Meet at the shop)

Includes:

• Full tuition by an internationally certified PADI instructor.
• All Confined water (swimming pool) sessions.
• All Open water dives/scenarios.
• MPA (Marine Protected Areas) permit.
• Full equipment use and air fills.
• Registration with PADI International Limited.
• 30 x Build up dives to begin the Divemaster course and 20 logged dives to complete it.
• EFR, Rescue Diver and Divemaster course materials.

Excludes:

PADI Registration payable directly to PADI (Divemaster level).
