And aside from learning about the Cape fur seals habits, you will also get to experience their friendly nature first hand. 

Your tour will include a picturesque drive from the V&A Waterfront past all the well know sites of the Cape. See the Lion’s Head and the 12 Apostles on your way to one one of the biggest seal colonies found on the Atlantic seaboard. Additionally, our seal snorkeling trips allow you the rare chance to witness dolphins, penguins, whales, sunfish, and so much more.

What Makes Seals So Special?

Seals are considered to be underwater dogs. And although they’re quite slow above the water, they’ll turn into playful performers once they’re in it. 

You can get the most seal action usually within the ocean’s top five meters. Seals will come right up to the water’s surface to breathe, so you’ll have a chance to be part of the fun while you’re snorkeling.

These friendly creatures will come right up to you, stare at your face, bark, play, and even blow bubbles! Sometimes, you’ll even have hundreds of seals surrounding you, making the whole experience a truly magical wildlife adventure. When these mammals are in the mood, expect plenty of playing and interaction around you. You may even find some cute seal pups at certain times of the year.
